Its key objectives include establishing a Nepali Community & Cultural Centre in New Zealand, promoting spiritual awareness, supporting wellbeing through yoga and meditation, passing on Nepali cultural and spiritual values to the younger generation.
The Nepal New Zealand Friendship Society of Canterbury Inc. (NNZFSC) was founded in 2002 with the dedicated support of New Zealanders. Ever since, the society has been managed by a diverse group of Nepalese and New Zealanders residing in Christchurch.
